Apply to become a Junior Leader today to gain valuable work experience while learning the responsibilities of a summer day camp counselor. Junior Leaders will be scheduled for volunteer hours in our Rec’ing Crew summer day camp programs from 6/16-8/8, where they will work alongside our current camp counselors. Junior Leaders volunteer for 2-4 days a week, between 6/16-8/8 for a morning, afternoon, or day shift. Applications due by May 16th and interviews will take place throughout the following weeks. All Junior Leaders must attend the mandatory training dates in June. Junior Leaders will be informed of these dates durring their interview process. Please remember this is a volunteer program with leadership training, not childcare. Some of our own amazing Recreation Leaders have come through this incredible program! Based on work performance, some volunteers may even be invited to assist on camp field trips. The fee includes a Junior Leader t-shirt.
