A school year recreational program for preschoolers ages 3 to 5:

Location: OV Little Explorers Base Camp, 6745 Hazel Avenue

 

Children must be completely toilet trained to attend.

San Juan school holidays are observed.

 

Busy Bees – Ages 3 - 5

The program, which runs from September through May, is offered in four, eight week sessions: Fall, Late Fall, Winter and Spring. The focus of the program is on developing social and peer interaction skills of your young child while building important developmental skills. Children are encouraged to work together in small groups to learn the necessary skills of taking turns, sharing, fine and gross motor skills, and more. In addition, OV Little Explorers Base Camp offers age appropriate arts & crafts, pre-math concepts, stories, poems and music in an exciting “hands on” learning environment.

 

*Parents or “parent helpers” must assist in the classroom three to four times each session depending on enrollment. This allows children to share their “school” experience with their moms, dads, grandparents or other care providers

Tuesday & Thursday

Fall Session: Sept 8- Oct 30 9:00- 11:30am

Late Fall Session: Nov 3 - Jan 14 9:00- 11:30am

Session Fee: $300 / $305 NR

 

Little Sprouts– Ages 4 - 5

The program, which runs from September through May, is offered in four, eight week sessions: Fall, Late Fall, Winter and Spring. The focus of the program is on developing more academic skills to ready the child for TK/Kinder.  Our more structured schedule includes circle time, pre-literacy skills, pre-math skills, fine motor skills, science exploration, and more.

Wednesday

Fall Session: Sept 9- Oct 29 9:00- 11:30am

Late Fall Session: Nov 4 - Jan 13 9:00- 11:30am

Session Fee: $75 / $80 NR

Children currently enrolled in the program have priority to re-enroll into future sessions.

Parent Orientation & Open House: Thursday September 3, 10:00am- 11:30am. Students and parents are asked to join us for the OV Little Explorers  Orientation and Open House. Visit the OV Little Explorers Base Camp to meet the instructor and become familiar with program procedures and see our Base Camp beforfe the first day!
